Turn Key

Turn-key projects mean that we develop and deliver machines at a fixed price. These projects are different from how we work with consulting projects. We work in small teams in close relationship with our client with the idea that the client is an expert in their business and we are experts in developing machines. Together we create success. With committed clients who are involved in the projects from the first contact through to ordering, design, assembly and commissioning Fagerström ensures that the product we deliver is exactly what the customer wants it to be. This way of working is the key to how we as an organization, can deliver turn-key machines to large international clients. An example is our work with a mirror telescope cleaning plant in Chile, where we are developing an equipment that will etch away the reflective silver layer on 788 mirrors that together form a giant mirror of 40 meters in diameter. We do this at an altitude of 3,000 meters. Another example is how we have helped a company to control the nicotine content of chewing gum. We are not experts in neither astronomy nor nicotine gums, but we know how to do machines. The basis of our successful projects, regardless of it being on a global level or in Sweden, is to understand the challenge and always look before we leap.
